Eva Swedenmark is a journalist and author of some 40 books in different genres, most recently she is in the limelight with the novel Paris Passion, in which she portrays life in Paris during the turbulent years of the late 1960s.
During the last years she has also written 3 books in the Mappie-lit genre to a huge success. They all hold the essence of the big question how women 60+ today live and are expected to live their lives. The generation that once made revolt now refuses to end up in the age trap. Still, it is so easy to get stuck in the prejudices about how women 60+ should live, says Eva. With these books she wants to give other women the desire, inspiration and courage to grab their lives and go ahead with their dreams by telling stories about friendships that challenges.
Eva Swedenmark originally comes from the city of Sundsvall but now lives in Stockholm since many years. She has three children and three grandchildren. As a young woman she has lived in France, but now she spends her summers in her cottage located in the Stockholm archipelago. She loves to travel and Vietnam is the favorite country to visit.
