It’s autumn, the detectives Nick Johansson and Klara Pil and their colleagues at the Stockholm Police become involved in a case that begins with a teenage boy being reported missing. Shortly afterwards, a teenage girl also disappears. The investigation stalls for a long time as the police have difficulty finding any common ground between the two young people. But once things start to fall into place, everything takes a very unpleasant and unexpected turn.
