Suzanne Eriks continues her tireless struggle to clean up Sweden but is hindered by a growing number of personal setbacks. The place in the Supreme Court seems increasingly distant, an internal investigation begins against Suzanne at her workplace and she still hasn’t caught the Dutch diamond dealer Hans van Everdingen who stole 20 millions from her.
As if all this was not enough, her friend Jessica becomes increasingly reluctant to help Suzanne, the son Anton shows his darker sides more and more and when the nanny Sofia is needed more than ever, she lets the family down. There are many who needs to be punished and Suzanne doesn’t just have one revenge to exact, but several. When Police Commissioner Peter Engberg starts asking very intimate questions, Suzanne must make a decision: leave the country for good or get rid the commissioner.
