Back to Ester Roxberg

A beautiful Christmas story for the whole family with fantastic watercolor illustrations by the young artist Maximilian Svensson.

It was the day before Christmas Eve.
We were in the woods preparing hot dogs.
I just wanted to go home and long for my Christmas gifts.
That’s when he showed up, Sixten.
“Yuk!” cried my parents when they saw him. “What a disgusting cat! Do not touch it!”

But the poor rag cat looks so frozen and hungry that the boy just needs to feed it. He follows the cat into the snowy forest and soon incredible things start to happen. Is the worn out cat really someone else – someone who maybe has something to do with Christmas? It  turns out to be a magical meeting at Christmas time that changes everything and makes the boy dare things he has never dared before.

The critics’ favorite Ester Roxberg,  has together with the acclaimed young artist Maximilian Svensson, created an wonderful Christmas story about the magic of Christmas and about taking care of each other.
