Annika Estassy, born in Nice, France 1962, spent her childhood in Senegal and France before moving to Sweden as a teenager. After having lived her adult life in Stockholm, Sweden, having worked for many years in the movie business, and as a CEO for Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan (The Swedish School of studies for adults), she has now left her position to work as an author full time, and once again she is living in France.
Her first novel, Solviken, was released with success in 2013, a warm feelgood novel about destiny and love, sold over 20.000 copies. Her second novel, Croissants till frukost (Croissants for breakfast) was released 2014 to an even greater success. Her third novel, Alla dessa hemligheter (All those secrets), was released May 2016 by Norstedts. The novels’ cover was also the cover on the catalogue for the summer releases.
Her novels has sold over 100.000 copies.
Annika has also released several short stories in magazines as well as in digital formats. Her novel, Gröna fingrar sökes (Looking for green fingers), released spring 2018, is a story about vulnerability, but also about women’s power and the healing ability of a garden.
Her new novel, A song for Hedda, is praised by both media and readers, sold to both Norway and Denmark. In fall 2020 her new audiobook series, The wineyard between the mountains and the sea, will be released.
